Job summary

CUHK Medical Centre Limited seeks a senior operations leader to oversee the clinic network, ensuring efficient service delivery and optimal use of resources. You will guide budgeting, staffing, training and performance across multiple clinics.

The role requires extensive healthcare operations experience, strong communication, and proven leadership in hospital or clinic settings, with English and Chinese proficiency. 3-year renewable contract.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, health services management, business administration, nursing or related field.
Valid Registered/Enrolled Nurse Practising Certificate (Nursing Council of Hong Kong).
At least 8 years of healthcare operations experience (ambulatory/outpatient/clinic management), with 3+ years in a managerial role.

Responsibilities

Oversee operations and performance of the clinic network, ensuring efficient service delivery, resource use and budgetary management.
Lead clinic management in manpower planning, scheduling, staff training, and performance development.
Act as liaison among patients, staff, physicians and stakeholders to ensure a consistent patient experience and resolve issues.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the operations and performance of the clinic network, ensuring efficient service delivery, optimal resource utilization and inventory planning, and effective budgetary management
Lead and support clinic management in manpower planning and scheduling, staff training and professional development, as well as performance management
Act as a key communication link among patients, clinic staff, attending physicians and other stakeholders to ensure consistent patient experience, resolve operational issues and drive continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with clinical governance, quality, patient safety, accreditation, and regulatory requirements across the clinic network and prepare for inspection
Support the planning, setup, and operational readiness of new clinics, services, and community-based healthcare initiatives
Drive operational projects and stakeholder collaboration to support the integration, growth, and sustainable development of the clinic network
Undertake other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned by supervisor(s)

Job Requirements

Holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management, Health Services Management, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related discipline
Holder of a valid Registered / Enrolled Nurse Practising Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong
At least 8 years' relevant experience in healthcare operations, ambulatory care, outpatient services, or clinic management, of which at least 3 years should be at managerial level
Experience managing multiple clinical sites, clinics, or service units would be an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong operational management, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
Proficient in MS Office applications

Compensation and Employment Terms

Appointment will be made on a 3-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
