Michael Page is seeking a Manager, Claims & Dispute Resolution to oversee contract management and administration for construction projects in Hong Kong. The role focuses on claims, dispute support, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

You will lead preparing, evaluating, and negotiating construction claims including EOT, disruption, loss and expense, variations, and related disputes, supported by contract, programme, cost and technical evidence.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• MRICS/MHKIS/MCIArb highly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction claims management, delay analysis, dispute resolution, or commercial management.

• Lead the preparation, evaluation, substantiation, and negotiation of construction claims, including EOT, prolongation costs, disruption, acceleration, loss and expense, variations, and fluctuation claims.
• Develop robust claims strategies and prepare detailed claim submissions supported by contractual, programme, technical, and commercial evidence.
• Review project records, correspondence, schedules, site documentation, and cost data to identify entitlement and support claim development.
• Assess and quantify the financial impact of delays, disruptions, variations, and changed conditions, including quantum evaluation and damages assessment.
• Provide strategic advice to project teams on claims avoidance, risk mitigation, contractual entitlements, and dispute management throughout the project life-cycle.
• Lead the assessment and defence of incoming claims from subcontractors, and consultants.

• Lead the preparation, evaluation, substantiation, and negotiation of construction claims, including Extension of Time (EOT), prolongation costs, disruption, acceleration, loss and expense, variations, and fluctuation claims.

• Develop robust claims strategies and prepare detailed claim submissions supported by contractual, programme, technical, and commercial evidence.
• Review project records, correspondence, schedules, site documentation, and cost data to identify entitlement and support claim development.
• Assess and quantify the financial impact of delays, disruptions, variations, and changed conditions, including quantum evaluation and damages assessment.

Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualifications such as MRICS, MHKIS, MCIArb, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in construction claims management, delay analysis, dispute resolution, or commercial management within major building, civil engineering, infrastructure, or E&M projects.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing and successfully negotiating complex EOT, loss and expense, delay, disruption, acceleration, and variation claims.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, commercial principles, and dispute resolution processes
