Service Line Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Support Manager to join our thriving actuarial services team. Working closely with Partners and Directors, the role manages operations and reporting, resource planning, and administrative support for the Actuarial team with Advisory, with a focus on driving operational excellence, supporting strategic initiatives, and contributing to the growth and success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze operational, performance, and financial reports (e.g., WIP) for leadership and partners to identify gaps and drive actions.
• Coordinate resource planning and pipeline meetings and recommend solutions.
• Assist with project budgets, billing, client contracts, software licenses, and guidance on CRM/Quality Risk Management/project management.
• Support the HR team on recruitment, intern/graduate programs, performance reviews, mentoring, and actuarial exam tracking.
• Support business development, event coordination, department meetings, interdepartmental collaboration, and ad‑hoc operational and administrative tasks.

Experience & Background

• University graduate with 6+ years’ relevant experience.
• Background in a professional services/financial services organisation is an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills, detail‑conscious, pro‑active, hard‑working and resilient.
• Self‑driven and creative with the ability to take on multiple activities and tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with flexibility to adapt to different working styles of senior stakeholders.
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and MS Office suite is essential.
• Proven people and project‑management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese is desirable.
