Job summary

China EverBright Bank Hong Kong Branch is seeking a skilled ALM professional to support liquidity management and ALCO reporting for senior decision-makers.

You will liaise with business units, prepare MIS for senior committees, and provide strategic analysis to guide funding and investment decisions. The role also involves supporting FTP mechanisms, ALM policy reviews, and secretarial tasks for ALCO meetings, under pressure and with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or related.
• FRM/CFA/CPA qualification an advantage.
• At least 3 years in ALM/FTP or similar functions in banks.
• Experience in treasury risk and liquidity risk is a plus.
• Familiar with banking products and HKMA SPM requirements.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua).

Job description

• Liaise with various business units to handle Liquidity Management Monitoring function to ensure the compliance with internal and external guidelines;
• Prepare regular MIS reports for ALCO and other Senior Management Committees;
• Work with the Treasurer on providing strategic analysis to support ongoing funding and investment decisions;
• Assist in formulating, maintaining and executing a sound fund transfer pricing (FTP) mechanism;
• Provide secretarial support for ALCO meeting, including but not limited to meeting arrangement, preparation of meeting agenda, materials and minutes;
• Assist in conducting periodical review of ALM policies and strategies for assets and liabilities management ;
• Support ad hoc ALM assignment by senior management or Head Office;

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder or above in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or related disciplines;
• Professional qualification in FRM or CFA or CPA would be an advantage
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in asset and liability management, fund transfer pricing or similar functions with financial institutions；
• Possessing Treasury Risk and Liquidity Risk management experience would be an advantage；
• Familiar with banking products, operations and able to handle the HKMA’s relevant SPM requirements
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Proficient in MS Office applications, e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
