Job summary

Tribus in Hong Kong is seeking Unix/Linux Systems Engineer roles focused on high-performance infrastructure for quantitative trading. You will work on bare-metal Linux, on-prem Kubernetes, and production platforms.

Responsibilities include designing, operating and automating Linux systems, networks, and latency-sensitive pipelines using Rancher, Cilium, ArgoCD, Terraform and GitHub Actions. This role requires production-grade reliability mindset and strong debugging skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with bare-metal or physical server infrastructure.
• Strong Python and/or Bash scripting and automation.
• Networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
• Production infrastructure and incident response.
• Infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Monitoring, observability and performance troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, operate and improve production platforms in Linux environments.
• Build, administer and support high-performance Linux infrastructure for trading/research.
• Coordinate with teams on deployments, upgrades and automation tasks.
