Job summary

Allied Environmental Consultants Limited in Hong Kong seeks a lighting designer to produce drawings, specs and details, participate in meetings and monitor sites. You will support projects, run 3DCG lighting simulations, and contribute to concept lighting and model simulations while coordinating with suppliers for fittings qualification.

The role requires a diploma or higher in lighting/interior design or electrical engineering, with 2 years of relevant experience and fluency in English,

Qualifications

• 2 years working experience in the field of lighting design.
• Experience in architectural lighting design.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Photoshop, DIALux and MS Office.
• Knowledgeable in SketchUp or other graphic presentation software is a strong advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Fresh graduates who are strongly interested in lighting are welcome.
• Motivated and good time management.
• Detailing, creativity and excellent design coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Production of lighting design drawings, specifications and detail drawings.
• Participate in project meetings and site monitoring.
• Provide support in project delivery.
• 3DCG lighting simulation.
• Capable of project execution, concept lighting innovation and model simulation.
• Meet with suppliers for light fittings qualification.
