Consilio LLC in Hong Kong seeks a seasoned Legal Solutions Consultant to drive business development, client engagement, and transformation across Asia, leveraging secondments, structured teams, and technology-enabled services.

The role requires a qualified lawyer with in-house or corporate experience, strong operations insight, and the ability to advise Chief Legal Officers and General Counsel on talent, technology adoption and efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications

• Qualified legal professional (private practice and/or in-house) highly regarded.
• 5–20 years' experience within legal services, legal consulting, legal operations or related fields.
• Demonstrated success in client acquisition, stakeholder engagement and commercial growth.
• Experience using legal technology ecosystems including CLM, eBilling, eDiscovery and AI legal tools.
• Strong understanding of challenges facing modern in-house legal departments.
• Ability to establish credibility with General Counsel, Heads of Legal and Legal Operations leaders.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Opportunity This is a multi-faceted role that incorporates business development via consulting to clients on various portfolio solutions and services, including secondments, structured teams, legal operations and technology buying and implementation. For the right individual, this role is not limited to Hong Kong, as you'll be at the forefront of LOD's growth across Hong Kong and the broader Asia region. You'll build meaningful relationships with leading legal teams, help clients solve increasingly complex resourcing, legal operations and transformation challenges, and play a key role in shaping how legal services are delivered across the market. This role is ideally suited to a qualified lawyer with in-house corporate experience, legal operations and process improvement, and/or legal transformation consulting on technology and legal process improvement. You will act as a trusted advisor to Chief Legal Officers, General Counsel, Heads of Legal and Legal Operations leaders, helping clients navigate talent, legal technology, operational efficiency and transformation initiatives.

• Leveraging knowledge of legal technology platforms including CLM, contract lifecycle management, matter management, eBilling, eDiscovery, AI legal technologies and related solutions to identify opportunities.
• Growing existing client relationships across LOD and Consilio services.
• Developing pitches, tenders and proposals.
• Partnering with marketing on campaigns and events.
• Driving cross-border opportunities with global colleagues.
• Representing the group brands externally as a market expert on trends impacting in-house legal teams, potentially including participation in events, seminars and panels.
• Maintaining CRM and pipeline reporting.

Driving sustainable revenue growth, winning new clients and new opportunities, expanding existing relationships and becoming a trusted advisor to client counterparts across the region.

• Ability to establish credibility with General Counsel, Heads of Legal and Legal Operations leaders through practical industry experience and insight.
