Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is recruiting an experienced Legal Counsel in Hong Kong to provide in-house legal support across business units. You will draft and negotiate contracts, ensure regulatory compliance, manage legal risk, and liaise with regulators where required.

The role emphasizes PE/fund formation experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and effective communication with internal stakeholders. Fluency in English and Chinese is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in law and qualified to practice in Hong Kong or another common law jurisdiction.
• Over 3 years’ experience providing legal support in PE/Fund formation.
• Strong knowledge of legal principles and regulatory requirements in financial services.
• Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate legal documents effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Chinese both written and spoken.
