Job summary

South-East Asia Investment & Agency Co Ltd in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Site Supervision & Quality Control professional to lead day-to-day construction oversight for high-rise residential/commercial projects.

You will enforce workmanship standards, manage main/sub-contractors, monitor progress, conduct water tests and facade work, and ensure BD compliance. Proactive problem solving, strong communication with stakeholders, and safety practice are essential.

Qualifications

• Higher diploma or above in Construction Management, Building Studies, or relevant disciplines.
• Minimum 10+ years of site supervision experience in construction and structural related projects, with at least 5 years operating at a CoW level, including quality, cost, and progress management.
• Thorough understanding of BD submissions, TCP supervision regulations, standard building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform rigorous daily site inspections for structural, architectural and fitting-out works.
• Enforce high workmanship standards, defect prevention and quality control (including water ponding tests, concrete inspection and facade installation).
• Ensure compliance with Buildings Ordinance, approved BD drawings, Code of Practice and statutory requirements; act as TCP where required.
• Supervise and benchmark main contractors, sub-contractors and RSS; verify materials on-site against samples and specs.
• Identify constructability issues and drawing discrepancies; provide practical technical solutions to project team and consultants.
• Inspect site safety, health and environmental standards in coordination with Safety Officer.
• Monitor progress; prepare weekly/monthly site progress reports, defect lists and quality audit logs.
• Witness material testing, inspect mock-ups, lead defect-clearing inspections, and participate in OP/CC handover processes.
