The American Club Hong Kong is looking for an Activities Coordinator to supervise the playroom, plan activities for children and teens, and support the Playroom Reception. The role requires coordinating daily programs, ensuring safety, and delivering friendly service to members and guests.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least 1 year of childcare experience, and strong English and Cantonese communication.

Competenze

• Minimum of a high school diploma or related discipline
• 1+ year of infant/toddler and/or early childhood teaching or childcare experience
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with diverse workforce and members
• Hands on computer skills
• Initiative and proactive. Eager to learn
• Must have optimistic personality to handle high pressure environment
• Outgoing and ready for effective communication with all levels of staff and members
• Good common sense for daily on-the-job decisions
• Enthusiasm, resilience, drive and ability to manage workload autonomously
• Critical thinking skills with ability to imagine better ways

Mansioni

• Creates and supervise activities, using an adapted Creative Curriculum model
• Processes registrations for all children activities or events
• Maintains a safe, clean, and sanitary playroom environment
• Manages the snack bar including taking order, serving drinks and snacks, and replenishing stock
• Assists Assistant Recreation Manager to launch children’s activities and events
