The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in KDB+/q development, real-time data processing, low-latency architectures, and equities trading systems, with a track record of delivering scalable, reliable technology for trading desks globally.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in KDB+/q development.
• Strong experience with tick data capture, schema design, and data analytics pipelines.
• Deep understanding of equities trading systems, market data flows, and exchange protocols.
• Experience building low-latency, high-throughput, high-availability systems.
• Strong knowledge of distributed computing and performance optimization.
• Proven experience in technical leadership, architecture, and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain real-time tick data capture, market data processing, and analytics pipelines.
• Design and optimize KDB+ architectures including RDB, HDB, and distributed environments.
• Build scalable signal engines, order analytics, and market surveillance solutions.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, and global technology teams to deliver business-critical platforms.
• Drive performance tuning, memory optimization, and latency reduction initiatives.
• Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and mentoring of development teams.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of production trading systems.
