Coordinates Capital Management Limited in Hong Kong seeks a Junior Trader to join its global macro desk. You will work closely with senior traders, executing trades across equities, currencies, futures, and options while gaining exposure to macro strategy implementation from day one.

Qualifications

• University degree in a quantitative discipline; statistics, probability theory, mathematics, or economics preferred
• Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning skills, with meticulous attention to detail
• A self-starter with intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Composure and sound judgment under pressure, particularly during periods of market volatility
• A strong sense of ownership and reliability, including the flexibility to work extended hours during volatile market conditions
• Genuine interest in macroeconomics and global financial markets, with the capacity to understand complex financial products
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English and Chinese required
• Solid working knowledge of interest rates, FX, swaps (interest rate swaps, cross-currency swaps, etc.), fixed income instruments (e.g., government bonds), futures, and options
• Prior experience or internship exposure to FICC markets is a plus

Responsibilities

• Execute trades and place orders across equities, currencies, futures, and options in multiple global markets
• Support portfolio managers with currency hedging strategies
• Monitor global markets and compile timely updates, trade ideas, news, and headlines for portfolio managers
• Partner with portfolio managers and senior traders to help design and improve trading infrastructure and workflows
• Liaise with the Operations team on trade settlement and funding management
