Job summary

PERSOL Hong Kong Limited is partnering with a listed client to recruit a Junior Cybersecurity Officer in Hong Kong. The role focuses on maintaining security across the IT environment, operating security tools, and supporting incident preparedness.

The candidate will perform vulnerability assessments, manage cloud security (AWS/Azure), CSPM or PAM solutions, and help review policies in line with IS and risk management. Cantonese and English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• Minimum 2 years IT security experience.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and CSPM/PAM tools.
• Knowledge of vulnerability & compliance management tools.
• Hands-on scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• LLM/AI agents experience is a plus.
• Certifications such as CEH, CCSA, CISSP, CISM, CISA or ITIL preferred.
• Fluency in Cantonese and English.

Junior Cybersecurity Officer (Listed Company/ up to 45K)

Due to ongoing growth, my client is currently seeking an Cybersecurity Analyst. You are required to maintain accuracy and stability on the whole security for the IT environment.

Exciting new role for you

Responsible for operating, administering and serving as a subject matter expert on security tools including but not limited to:

Perform vulnerability assessment, improve cyber security defence, attach preparedness and contingency plan

Cloud security and privileged security management

Review and maintain cyber security policies, standards & procedures in compliance with IS & risk management policies

Develop and implement appropriate recovery plans for resilience and to restore IT services that were impaired due to a security incident

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in IT or other related disciplines

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in IT security areas

Experience with cloud security (AWS / Azure), CSPM tools or PAM solutions is highly preferred

Good knowledge and experience with vulnerability and compliance management products

Hands-on experience with basic scripting: Python, Bash script or PowerShell

Experience with LLM/AI agents would be a plus

Independent, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure

Professional qualifications and/or certifications holder would be preferred (e.g. CEH, ,CCSA, CISSP,CISM, CISA or ITIL)

Proficiency in Cantonese & English

Candidate with less experience would also be considered
