Job summary

PERSOL Hong Kong Limited is partnering with a listed client to recruit a Junior Cybersecurity Officer in Hong Kong. The role focuses on maintaining security across the IT environment, operating security tools, and supporting incident preparedness.

The candidate will perform vulnerability assessments, manage cloud security (AWS/Azure), CSPM or PAM solutions, and help review policies in line with IS and risk management. Cantonese and English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• Minimum 2 years IT security experience.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and CSPM/PAM tools.
• Knowledge of vulnerability & compliance management tools.
• Hands-on scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• LLM/AI agents experience is a plus.
• Certifications such as CEH, CCSA, CISSP, CISM, CISA or ITIL preferred.
• Fluency in Cantonese and English.

Responsibilities

• Operate, administer and act as SME on security tools.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and strengthen cyber defence.
• Develop recovery and contingency plans for IT resilience.
• Review and maintain cyber security policies and procedures.
• Support cloud security and privileged access management.
