Job summary

The Tung Wah Group in Hong Kong is seeking a contract Fitness Trainer to provide exercise training, support therapists, and deliver diseases management programs while tailoring classes to all levels. The ideal candidate holds a Personal Fitness Trainer qualification, an Advanced Level Physical Fitness Assessment certification, and F.5 or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

• Advanced Level certification in Physical Fitness Assessment preferred.
• Completed F.5 or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exercise training and education program, and support the therapists in delivering diseases management programs;
• Develop and implement training exercise classes that fit clients of all levels;
• Provide fitness assessment to clients and provide training to individual clients in accordance with the prescription of the therapists; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job description

• provide fitness assessment to clients and provide training to individual clients in accordance with the prescription of the therapists; and
• perform any other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate shouldhave/be:

• holder of a Personal Fitness Trainer qualification, and preferably with Physical Fitness Assessment Leader (Advanced Level) Certification;
• completed F.5 or equivalent and at least 1 year of relevant experience;
• good communication skills, good patience, fluent in Cantonese and computer literate; and
• preferably facility management skills.

The successful candidate will be appointed on contract terms with a salary currently at $22,590 per month (Tung Wah Master Pay Scale Point 7). Entry salary depends on years of recognized experience. The salary is subject to downward/upward adjustment or may be frozen as determined by Tung Wah and/or as appropriate with reference to the civil service pay review. The fringe benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.
