Job summary

The Tung Wah Group is seeking a contract-based Fitness Trainer to join our wellness team in Hong Kong. You will design and deliver exercise training, support therapists in disease management programs, and tailor sessions for clients across all levels according to prescriptions.

You will also assess fitness, maintain accurate records, and contribute to program development. The ideal candidate holds a Personal Fitness Trainer qualification (preferably with the Advanced Level) and is

Qualifications

• Holder of a Personal Fitness Trainer qualification; preferably with Physical Fitness Assessment Leader (Advanced Level) Certification.
• Completed F.5 or equivalent; at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Good communication skills, good patience; fluent in Cantonese and computer literate; preferably facility management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exercise training and education program, and support the therapists in delivering diseases management programs;
• Develop and implement training exercise classes that fit clients of all levels;
• Provide fitness assessment to clients and provide training to individual clients in accordance with the prescription of the therapists;

Job description

The ideal candidate shouldhave/be:

The successful candidate will be appointed on contract terms with a salary currently at $22,590 per month (Tung Wah Master Pay Scale Point 7). Entry salary depends on years of recognized experience. The salary is subject to downward/upward adjustment or may be frozen as determined by Tung Wah and/or as appropriate with reference to the civil service pay review. The fringe benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.
