Job summary

Robert Half Hong Kong Limited is seeking a Head of Manufacturing for the jewellery division based in Guangzhou. The role drives manufacturing strategy, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across operations to deliver premium products.

You will lead a senior team, align with the group’s quality standards, and implement advanced production practices to ensure cost-effective, on-time delivery while upholding safety and compliance across the global supply chain.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the jewelry industry, including at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production processes, and operational workflows, with hands-on experience in production management, cost control, quality management, and logistics management.
• Well-versed in advanced production management methodologies and Lean Manufacturing principles, with extensive practical implementation experience.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic manufacturing plans aligned with growth objectives.

Responsibilities

• Align closely with quality standards of the Group, drive continuous improvement, achieve quality targets, and lead the team in elevating quality standards.
• Long-term objective: establish a comprehensive quality management system, streamline processes, standardize operations, and position product quality as a benchmark.
• Foster a quality-first culture by enhancing employees' quality awareness and accountability.
• Develop and execute annual production strategies and business plans to transform manufacturing into a fast-delivery, quality-assured center.
• Formulate and evaluate long-term manufacturing development strategies using market research and data analysis for decision-making.
• Coach and develop a high-performing production management team and establish best-in-class manufacturing practices.
