Job summary

Protiviti Hong Kong Co. Limited is seeking a hands-on IT developer to provide BAU support for back-end applications and online platforms.

You will investigate production incidents, perform root cause analyses, and collaborate with multiple teams to deliver fixes and improvements. The role requires hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate and React, plus SQL troubleshooting and familiarity with CI/CD in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines.
• 3+ years IT development / application support experience.
• Hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate and React.
• Familiar with SQL and production troubleshooting.
• Familiar with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins.
• Azure Cloud and Terraform experience is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving skills and able to work independently with different teams.
• Good spoken and written Cantonese and English.

Responsibilities

• Provide BAU support for back-end applications and online service platforms, ensuring system stability and smooth day-to-day operations.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, system issues and application enquiries.
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis and follow up on issue resolution.
• Support system enhancements, bug fixes, code refactoring and continuous improvements.
• Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate and React.
• Work closely with other application and infrastructure teams on production support and system changes.
• Support application deployment and CI/CD processes following DevOps and Agile practices.
• Support Docker/Kubernetes environments and contribute to ongoing application and ecosystem support.
