Job summary

King George V School in Hong Kong invites applications for a Janitor to join our facilities team. Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms and common areas, washing dishes, vacuuming, cleaning toilets, moving furniture, and basic maintenance; plus outdoor landscaping duties under the gardener's guidance.

We value teamwork, Cantonese with basic English, and flexible hours for school events. Applicants must be HK permanent residents or hold valid HK work visas.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cleaning tasks including washing, vacuuming, cleaning toilets, moving furniture and minor maintenance.
• Maintain school flora under gardener guidance: planting, watering, soil cultivation, weeding and pruning.
• Ensure cleaning of exterior areas: flowerbeds, lawns, rooftops, sports surfaces and driveways.
• Assure drainage systems maintenance and clearance of leaf litter.

King George V School is seeking a Janitor to join the team.

Responsibilities

• 清潔工作，包括洗碗、吸塵、清潔洗手間、搬運桌椅及簡單維修等
• Carrying out cleaning tasks, include washing, hoovering, cleaning toilets, moving furniture and minor maintenance etc.
• 在園丁的指導下，維護學校指定區域的植物群落：種植、澆水、土壤耕作、挖掘、除草、覆蓋、施肥、修剪、修剪等。
• Under guidance from the gardener, sustain the School’s flora: planting, watering, soil cultivation, digging, weeding, mulching, fertilizing, raking, pruning, etc.
• 確保校園外圍包括花叢、草地、天台花園、運動場和車道之清潔
• Assure the maintenance of drainage systems and clearance of leaf litter/blockages.

Requirements

• 團隊合作精神、懂廣東話，最好有基本英語
• 應學校活動調整上班時間
• 做好需要戶外工作的心理準備
• 有責任心和上進心, 友善及有誠信
• 申請人必須是香港永久居民，或持有效香港工作證件
• Team spirit, Cantonese and elementary English is a bonus
