Job summary

Local Bank (Hong Kong) is seeking an experienced Manager, IT Financial Management to drive IT financial governance and budget planning within the technology team. The role focuses on dashboarding, forecasting, and ensuring spending aligns with financial accounting principles.

The ideal candidate has extensive banking experience, strong vendor management, and hands-on project financial management on large IT projects, with fluency in Cantonese and English, and a bias for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in IT, Business Administration or related fields.
• 8+ years in IT with at least 7 years in project finance or related positions.
• 8+ years in banking with understanding of business applications and related technologies.
• Process oriented with experience in financial control, QA, compliance monitoring and risk management.
• Hands-on in project financial management on budgets over HK$10M.
• Experience in vendor partnership or management.
• Fluent in Cantonese and English; Putonghua an advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills with formulas and macros for tracking and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Division Financial Management: Prepare IT budget, monitor forecast and dashboard usage.
• Project Financial Management: Advise project managers on financial management and reporting.
• Procurement Financial Management: Budget checks, booking expenses and invoice settlements.
• Subsidiaries Support: Coordinate cost management and cost recovery with other entities.
