Job summary

A prominent technology firm in Hong Kong is seeking an IT Data Center Operator. You will be responsible for daily computer operations for both Mainframe and Open platforms, monitoring systems, and performing scheduled tasks in a shift rotation. The ideal candidate should have a diploma and some formal training in computer studies, with the ability to work independently under pressure. Qualifications

• Diploma or above with some formal training in computer studies.
• Candidates with more experience in data center will be considered as Senior IT Data Center Operator.
• 24 x 7 shift duty is required.
• Experience in data centers will be considered for Senior IT Data Center Operator.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily computer operations of Mainframe and Open platform.
• Monitor console messages, network and online system.
• Perform scheduled batch job running and monitoring.
• Perform shift duty on a 7x24 roster basis.
