Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join a prestigious Chinese securities firm’s Investment Banking Division. You will take a leading role in originating and executing mandates and corporate finance transactions, while growing relationships with key corporate clients.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, overseas offices and CS Beijing, ensuring high-quality deal materials and insightful market analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of investment banking experience for Associate/Senior Associate.
• Fully qualified with regulatory licences (e.g., SFC).
• Experience in corporate finance, advisory and capital markets.
• Strong analytical, modelling and market research abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Putonghua) required.

Responsibilities

• Take a leading role in originating and executing investment banking mandates and corporate finance transactions.
• Maintain and expand long-term relationships with corporate clients and identify new opportunities.
• Evaluate potential clients and assess market opportunities across sector teams.
• Develop market knowledge and keep updated on regulatory shifts and product developments.
• Collaborate with internal sector teams, senior leadership, overseas offices and CS Beijing.
• Maintain quality control over all team output, documentation and pitch materials.
• Apply strong problem-solving and decision-making across complex deals.
• Review, supervise and mentor junior team members with day-to-day guidance.

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in investment banking and financial services, suitable for Associate or Senior Associate level.

• Fully qualified with all necessary regulatory criteria and licences (e.g., SFC) to carry out regulated investment activities.

• Proven knowledge and execution experience in corporate finance, advisory, and capital markets processes.

• Exceptional analytical, financial modelling, quantitative, and market research skills.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation capabilities.

• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is mandatory.
