Job summary

SW Technologies Limited is seeking a Project Manager (IT Project - Hardware + Software) in Hong Kong to lead multi-disciplined initiatives involving hardware and software integration. The role emphasizes understanding vendor discussions, driving timely deliverables, and managing cross-functional teams across electronics, firmware, mobile apps, backend systems, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems.
• Knowledge of software coding and system infrastructure is a must.
• Experience in hardware/electronics/IoT/vendor projects is preferred.
• Basic understanding of electronics, embedded systems, APIs, databases, cloud systems.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and familiar with PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Understand vendor discussions, ask technical questions, identify risks, and drive vendors to deliver.
• Monitor and coordinate projects across hardware, firmware, mobile apps, backend systems, and cloud platforms.
• Act as main coordination point between management, hardware vendors, electronics suppliers, software vendors, manufacturers, and partners.
• Review vendor proposals, timelines, and deliverables to identify risks or integration issues.
• Track milestones, dependencies, issues, and vendor follow-ups.
• Coordinate hardware-software integration testing and deployment readiness.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, risk logs, meeting notes, and progress reports.
• Communicate status, risks, blockers, and next actions to management and vendors.
