Job summary

China Mobile International Limited seeks an experienced Product Manager for IoT Solutions to lead end-to-end strategy across device-side connectivity, including SDKs, gateways, and Matter support. You will align with ecosystem partners and internal engineering to bridge hardware, cloud, and mobile experiences.

The role emphasizes architecture, onboarding design, and cross-functional governance, with a focus on delivering mass production for edge-connected devices.

Qualifications

• Master’s or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field.
• 5+ years in IoT, Smart Home, or Smart Hardware ecosystems.
• 2+ years directly driving device-side architectures, SDK integration, or mass-production delivery.
• Proven track record leading at least one IoT product from proposal through debugging to mass production.
• Knowledge of MCU/SoC architectures, wireless modules, firmware, and embedded OS (RTOS/Linux).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end device-side connectivity strategy and productization.
• Architect and review smart home device integration across chipsets/modules and protocols.
• Collaborate with OEMs to validate architecture, adapt SDKs, and drive mass production.
• Define onboarding criteria and standardized QA metrics for device pairing and OTA updates.
• Analyze logs and traces to isolate root causes and orchestrate cross-team resolutions.
• Translate project customizations into scalable SDK capabilities and documentation.
• Keep ahead of Matter, Thread, Zigbee standards to refine specs and roadmaps.
• Coordinate governance across Product, R&D, QA, Operations, and Partnerships.
