Job description

Investment Business Manager / Senior Manager

Key Responsibilities

Industry Research: Conduct in-depth research on strategic emerging industries (e.g., New Energy, Advanced Manufacturing, Hard & CoreTech) to grasp market trends and capture investment opportunities.

Deal Sourcing: Actively locate and screen high-potential equity or debt investment projects to build a robust project pipeline.

Transaction Execution: Lead the end-to-end investment process, including project initiation, due diligence, valuation analysis, investment proposal drafting, organizing decision-making meetings, and closing deals.

Post-investment Management: Maintain effective communication with portfolio companies, facilitate resource linking, and manage project exits.

Ad-hoc Tasks: Complete other duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

Education: Full-time Bachelor’s degree or above from a prestigious university; Finance, Economics, or STEM backgrounds are preferred.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of work experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in financial investment (corporate credit, private debt, equity, etc.); experience with SFC Type 4 and Type 9 regulated activities is a plus.

Core Competencies: Strong logical thinking and industry analysis skills; ability to rapidly master new domains and independently produce high-quality investment proposals.

Qualifications: CFA, FRM, or CPA holders are preferred.

Languages: Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (fluency in Mandarin and English is essential).

Personal Traits: Able to thrive in high-pressure environments; highly passionate about equity and non-standard debt investment.
