Job summary

Fuku in Hong Kong is seeking an International Index Fund Manager (Options Focus) to oversee index portfolios, ensure accurate benchmark tracking, and optimize tracking error under changing market conditions. The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field, at least three years of index investment management experience with options or derivatives, and strong Chinese and English communication.

You will design covered calls and collaborate with research and trading to advance our investment

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or above in financial engineering, mathematics, or quantitative finance.
• At least 3 years of index investment management experience, with live management of covered calls or derivatives.
• Deep understanding of domestic and overseas index markets and ETF products.
• Excellent Chinese and English communication; English as working language.
• High standards, strong logical thinking, proactive attitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Manage portfolios of index fund products, ensuring strict tracking of benchmark indices, conducting portfolio construction and regular reviews, and optimizing tracking error based on market conditions.
• Design and execute derivative enhancement strategies, such as covered calls, and dynamically manage options positions.
• Collaborate closely with the research team and trading department to refine the index and options investment management framework, ensuring effective application of research outcomes.
• Lead the systematic development of index investment and options trading systems to improve portfolio management efficiency.
• Work with product and marketing departments to provide professional and technical support for the design, roadshows, and client Q&A of derivative products, including covered call strategies.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or above, preferably in financial engineering, mathematics, quantitative finance, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 3 years of index investment management experience, including hands-on live management experience with covered calls or derivatives, and a proven track record in portfolio management.
• Deep understanding of domestic and overseas index markets, ETF products, and options/derivative instruments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English; English can be used as a working language.
• High personal standards, strong logical thinking, a positive and proactive attitude, and robust problem-solving skills.
