Job summary

Bitget is seeking a proactive Internal Control professional to strengthen its control environment in a crypto-native setting. Reporting to the Head of Internal Control, you will implement policies, monitor risks, and drive cross-functional risk management initiatives.

The role focuses on building strong internal controls, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating with multiple teams to ensure policy adherence and continuous improvement. A four-year background in risk or controls is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related field.
• At least 4 years in risk management, internal controls, audit or assurance, preferably fintech/tech.
• Strong understanding of internal control/audit methodologies; control testing experience is a must.
• Familiarity with crypto, blockchain or virtual asset regulations is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Design and document internal control frameworks and SOPs tailored to business needs.
• Roll out and enforce internal policies across functions with consistent application.
• Identify control gaps; develop and implement preventive and corrective actions.
• Conduct routine reviews of workflows to assess control effectiveness and policy adherence.
• Use data analytics and technology tools for continuous risk monitoring and improvements.
• Identify potential fraud risks and design preventive controls with stakeholders.
• Contribute to policy, procedures, and risk management initiatives.
• Engage with internal teams to drive alignment and support change management.
