Global Asset Manager in Hong Kong is seeking an Intermediary Sales Support Associate to support the wholesale distribution team. You will drive relationships with retail banks, private banks, and distributors, streamline sales logistics, and coordinate events and marketing materials.

The role requires asset management or private banking background, familiarity with mutual funds, and professional English with Cantonese/Mandarin as a plus; SFC licenses preferred. Hybrid work model is offered.

Qualifications

• Background in buy-side/asset management or private banking, intermediary client service, or sales support.
• Solid grasp of mutual funds and multi-asset investment vehicles.
• Hands-on experience with Bloomberg, Morningstar, or Salesforce is a plus.
• SFC Type 1 & 4 licenses or HKSI Papers (1, 7, 8) preferred.
• Native Cantonese with strong English and Mandarin.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.

Job Duties

• Sales Support: As part of the front office to resolve daily queries from private banks and retail distributors
• CRM Management: Log clients’ engagements, meeting minutes, and sales activity logs in Salesforce
• Event Execution: Oversee end-to-end event management, including Portfolio Managers’ roadshows, distributor seminars, and branch roadshows.
• Marketing & Collateral: Tailor and refresh product materials, factsheets, presentation decks, and fund updates by working closely with marketing and fund performance management teams
• Operational Admin: Process travel logistics, team expense reports, vendor invoices, and cross-departmental administrative requests.

Requirements

• Proven background in buy-side/asset management/private banking, intermediary client service, or sales support.
• Solid grasp of mutual funds and multi-asset investment vehicles.
• Hands-on experience with Bloomberg, Morningstar, or Salesforce is a distinct advantage.
• Current holder of SFC Type 1 & 4 licenses (or HKSI Papers 1, 7, 8).
