Our client is an elite international law firm with a strong presence across Asia-Pacific and globally. Renowned for its top-tier IP practice, the firm represents prestigious multinational corporations, high-growth technology brands, and leading media entities on complex regional and cross-border intellectual property issues.
You will be joining a highly collaborative, supportive, and sophisticated Intellectual Property team in Hong Kong. Working alongside market-leading partners and experienced associates, the team values professional development, operational excellence, and a commercial approach to legal support.
Assist fee earners on a wide spectrum of contentious and non-contentious trade mark and copyright portfolio management matters in Hong Kong and internationally.
Handle trade mark filings, prosecutions, renewals, and recordals across regional trademark registries.
Conduct trade mark clearance searches and draft preliminary search reports.
Support contentious proceedings, including oppositions, invalidation actions, and IP infringement disputes.
Prepare, organize, and collate legal documents, evidence, and court bundles for IP litigation and administrative hearings.
Liaise directly with foreign counsel, clients, and official registry authorities.
Maintain and update internal IP management databases and deadline tracking systems.
Minimum 2 years of relevant IP paralegal experience gained within an international or top-tier local law firm.
Hands‑on exposure to both contentious and non‑contentious trade mark and copyright matters.
Solid understanding of Hong Kong IP registry procedures and cross-border portfolio management.
High level of attention to detail with excellent organizational and drafting skills.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese is required; fluency in Mandarin is highly advantageous.
Relevant legal qualifications (such as a Bachelor of Laws, Diploma in Law, or Paralegal Certificate) are preferred.
An outstanding opportunity for an ambitious IP Paralegal with 2+ years of experience to join a premier international law firm in Hong Kong.
