Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited seeks a paralegal to join a premier international legal practice in Hong Kong, supporting complex commercial litigation, arbitration, and winding-up proceedings. You will provide comprehensive paralegal support in high-stakes disputes and liaise with clients, counsel, and courts to ensure smooth case progression.

The role requires at least 2 years as a paralegal, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent, and experience with High Court proceedings and arbitration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience.
• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent.
• Experience assisting High Court proceedings and arbitration matters.
• Familiarity with SFC or ICAC regulatory contexts is advantageous.
• Fluency in English and Chinese; Mandarin is a strong advantage for PRC client liaison.

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling complex commercial litigation, arbitration, and winding-up proceedings.
• Provide comprehensive paralegal support in shareholder, director, banking, investment, and construction disputes.
• Support regulatory defence matters and investigations led by the SFC.
• Assist in preparing documentation for white-collar cases with ICAC/CCB involvement.
• Conduct legal research, prepare trial bundles, and draft routine documents.
• Liaise professionally with clients, counsel, and courts to progress case files.

• Assist in handling complex commercial litigation, arbitration, and winding-up proceedings.
• Provide comprehensive paralegal support in high-stakes shareholder, director, banking, investment, and construction disputes.
• Support regulatory defence matters and investigations led by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).
• Assist in preparing documentation for white-collar crime cases involving the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) and the Commercial Crime Bureau.
• Conduct thorough legal research, prepare trial bundles, and draft routine legal and court documents.
• Liaise professionally with clients, counsel, and courts to ensure the smooth progression of case files.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably within a commercial litigation or dispute resolution practice.
• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or an equivalent legal qualification.
• Proven experience assisting with High Court proceedings and arbitration matters.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks involving the SFC or ICAC is highly advantageous.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin fluency is a strong advantage for liaising with PRC clients.
