Job summary

EY in Hong Kong is hiring a Manager in Insurance Risk and Regulation within the Financial Services / Insurance team. Based in Hong Kong, this one-year fixed-term role focuses on strengthening EY's external brand and supporting client teams on regulatory matters for insurance across Asia-Pacific.

You will build relationships with regulators and trade bodies, develop regulatory insights, coordinate with the GRN Asia-Pacific hub, and contribute to thought leadership with local stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in business studies, law, accounting, finance or related disciplines.
• At least five years post-graduation experience in a financial services role in risk, compliance or regulatory relations.
• Ability to work across markets and with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify strategic commercial opportunities for the Financial Services business within the global and Asia-Pacific insurance regulatory pipeline.
• Flag and action potential commercial opportunities linked to regulatory issues affecting EY's leading insurance clients globally.
• Create insights and analysis of key insurance regulatory developments for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Provide GRN coordination and support to the GRN EY Asia-Pacific Financial Services Regulatory Leader.
• Support Asia-Pacific and Hong Kong insurance business development and thought leadership with Hong Kong stakeholders.
