Job summary

One Advisors is seeking professionals across Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Data Architect, and Data Governance roles at multiple levels. Requirements include a statistics or CS degree, data-driven decision making, and strong BI tool proficiency (Power BI, Google Analytics, Excel).

Candidates should demonstrate SQL mastery, understanding of the insurance value chain, and experience guiding analytics projects with internal teams or external partners. PM experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle ambiguity and manage conflicting stakeholder needs in a complex environment.

Multinational to medium-size insurance companies are looking for Data Analytics / Data Science / Data Engineering / Data Architect / Data Governance at various levels for the business growth. (Junior to Senior Level)

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Statistics, Quantitative Analysis, Computer Science, Data Science or related disciplines
• experience working in Data Science / Machine Learning / Data Analytics / Data Engineering / Data Governance roles
• Proven track record in using data to measure performance, build tools and make decisions
• Excellent in using Power BI; Knowledgeable in other BI tools, e.g. Google Analytics; Advanced Excel skills
• Strong in database concepts and competence in SQL query and optimization
• Understanding of the insurance value chain.
• Experience in leading business insights and analytics projects via internal resources, and/ or external research partners / vendors is a plus. Project management experience is preferred
• Ability to resolve ambiguity and manage conflicting needs from stakeholders while working within the constraints of a complex technical and operational environment
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking with strong analytical and implementation skills
• Ability to work independently under pressure, and can handle multiple and ad-hoc tasks with a can-do attitude as an individual or a team player
• Result-oriented and self-motivated; Intellectual curiosity and proactive, ability to learn fast
