The ideal candidate will have:

An undergraduate degree or above in Chinese Language and Literature/ Chinese Literature.

A recognized teaching qualification

MYP and DP Chinese teaching experience; proven track record in Chinese A curriculum design and teaching preferred.

An in-depth understanding of Chinese languages, history and cultural heritage

Experience teaching DP Chinese A an asset

Fluent Mandarin and excellent command of English

Experience in a bilingual workplace

A commitment to student centred inquiry based learning

Enthusiasm for pastoral care and building strong relationships with students; this includes homeroom teacher and PSHE responsibilities
