VSA is now recruiting an enthusiastic and committed teacher for the above position for the school year beginning August 2027.

The ideal candidate will have:

• An undergraduate degree or above in Chinese Language and Literature/ Chinese Literature.

• A recognized teaching qualification

• MYP and DP Chinese teaching experience; proven track record in Chinese A curriculum design and teaching preferred.

• An in-depth understanding of Chinese languages, history and cultural heritage

• Experience teaching DP Chinese A an asset

• Fluent Mandarin and excellent command of English

• Experience in a bilingual workplace

• A commitment to student centred inquiry based learning

• Enthusiasm for pastoral care and building strong relationships with students; this includes homeroom teacher and PSHE responsibilities

• A growth-mindset looking to continually improve

• Demonstrated ability to adapt to a new cultural environment
