Job summary

Leadingnation's client, a major public-sector institution in Hong Kong, is seeking an experienced IT infrastructure professional to oversee and support private cloud platforms, including compute, storage, and load-balancing components. You will perform capacity planning, routine maintenance, and patching to ensure optimal performance.

You will diagnose and resolve incidents, maintain up-to-date documentation, and contribute to infrastructure-related projects and proof-of-concept exercises, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• At least 4 years of experience within the IT or infrastructure domain
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience supporting hardware, operating systems, and enterprise platforms including VMware, Cisco, Dell, NetApp, PureStorage, Microsoft, and Red Hat
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) in Data Center Virtualization is required
• Additional certifications (e.g. VMware Cloud Management & Automation, Network Virtualization, Desktop & Mobility, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support private cloud platforms, including compute, storage, load-balancing components, and related sub-systems
• Carry out capacity planning, routine system maintenance, and patching activities to ensure optimal performance
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues, responding to incidents and providing user support when required
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, operational procedures, and disaster recovery guidelines
• Contribute to infrastructure-related projects, technical evaluations, and proof-of-concept exercises
• Support public cloud environments, including monitoring, deployment activities, and troubleshooting
