Job summary

Ocean Park Hong Kong is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to lead and maintain HSE programs across the park and events. You will conduct audits, inspections and training to ensure compliance with HK regulations and internal standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety discipline.
• Holder of Registered Safety Officer under F&IU Regulations.
• At least 3 years’ experience in health & safety.
• Experience at corporate level and large organizations preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with problem solving and attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Water World’s health and safety management system and initiatives to minimize risks to employees, guests, contractors, water attractions and events.
• Provide support to line departments in safety-related programmes and initiatives implementation.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and company frameworks; maintain guest safety standards.
• Perform daily and weekly inspections to identify hazards and enforce corrective actions.
• Review safety-related submissions and provide comments.
• Advise on health and safety improvements to rectify unsafe conditions and enhance safety performance.
• Develop internal safety training materials and conduct safety training.
• Coordinate safety committee meetings and maintain records; keep HSE statistics up to date.
• Assist the Manager in promotional programmes on safety, carbon management and sustainability.
• Execute tasks assigned by the direct Manager.
