Job summary

Langham Hotels International Ltd is seeking an analytical Assistant Manager – Project Analysis to support evaluation of new hotel management and development opportunities worldwide. You will conduct market and financial analyses, develop operating projections, and provide recommendations to inform strategic decisions.

The role requires strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, 5+ years in hospitality/real estate analysis, and fluency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant hospitality or real estate feasibility, consulting, development, investment, asset management, hotel operations or financial analysis.
• Good understanding of hotel operations, KPIs and hotel financial statements is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving skills with data interpretation ability.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple assignments with limited supervision.
• Strong writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market, tourism, economic and competitive analyses across international markets.
• Prepare feasibility studies for hotel management and development opportunities.
• Develop detailed hotel operating projections: occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, revenue, expenses and profitability.
• Assess market positioning, supply-demand, brand suitability and project potential.
• Benchmark proposals against comparable hotels and market performance.
• Review assumptions and perform sensitivity and scenario analyses.
• Formulate recommendations for senior management decisions.
• Prepare clear recommendations and presentation materials for stakeholders.
• Coordinate inputs from development, finance, operations and internal teams.
