Job summary

Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited seeks a senior leader in Asset Management for its hotel portfolio in Hong Kong and Mainland China. The role requires deep ownership experience, finance leadership, and strong business acumen in a hospitality context.

You will oversee performance, cost control, and project coordination for hotels, evaluate investment opportunities, and drive optimization across owned and partner properties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, hospitality management or related disciplines.
• 15+ years’ experience in hotel/hospitality industry with significant ownership experience of hotels in Hong Kong and China.
• Candidates possess substantial Finance Leadership experience with operational responsibilities in hotel management companies.
• A team player with strong business acumen and market awareness.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor the business performance and management of partnership hotels and self-owned hotels.
• Monitor and control operation costs and efficiency of assigned hotels.
• Collaborate with project teams on pre-set up arrangements for new hotels and renovation projects.
• Evaluate business cases and make recommendations on investment projects.
• Undertake other responsibilities and/or ad hoc projects as designated by management.

Job description

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, hospitality management or related disciplines, a recognized CPA or ACCA qualification an advantage
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in hotel / hospitality industry with significant experience on the OWNERSHIP side of hotels in Hong Kong and China. Candidate with hotel operational knowledge will be an advantage
• Candidates possess substantial experience in Finance Leadership role combined with operational responsibilities gained from hotel management companies will also be considered
• A team player with strong business acumen and market awareness
• Ability to manage projects and drive progress; strive for continuous improvement
• Good interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua

Responsibilities:
