Job summary

The Peninsula Hong Kong is seeking a diligent accounting professional to verify and reconcile daily revenues and manage cashier duties in a high-end hotel setting. The role includes preparing month-end journals and balance sheet schedules, supporting month-end closings, and handling ad hoc tasks for management.

Ideal candidates hold an accounting degree or diploma, possess strong English and Chinese communication skills, and are detail-oriented with analytical acumen.

Qualifications

• Degree / Higher Diploma in Accounting or related discipline.
• Hotel industry experience is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates will be considered.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, decisive and results-driven.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Verify and reconcile daily transactions from all revenue-generating departments.
• In charge of the General Cashier’s duties.
• Prepare month-end journals and balance sheet schedules.
• Assist supervisor with month-end closing.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
