Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited is seeking a mid-level Corporate M&A Associate with 3–5 PQE and Hong Kong admission to join its expanding corporate practice in Hong Kong. The role focuses on high-value cross-border M&A, joint ventures, and general corporate advisory matters, with immediate availability preferred to support rapid team growth.

The Hong Kong office collaborates with multinational clients, private equity funds, and financial institutions on landmark deals.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years PQE in corporate M&A at an international or local law firm.
• Hong Kong solicitor qualification is mandatory.
• Fluent in written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and English.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and deal-management skills.
• Immediate availability or short notice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise international and regional clients on complex public and private M&A transactions, cross-border investments, joint ventures, and corporate reorganizations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documentation, including sale and purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and disclosure documents.
• Lead due diligence exercises and coordinate with external advisors, legal counsel, and regulatory bodies across multiple jurisdictions.
• Provide ongoing legal support on general commercial contracts and Hong Kong regulatory compliance matters.
• Assist partners with practice development, client pitches, and industry research.
