Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager for Hong Kong. You will deliver regulatory engagement strategies, manage licensing for payment services and related activities, and liaise with regulators such as HKMA, SFC and HKMA. You’ll guide first‑line and second‑line teams to ensure a mature compliance program.

You’ll lead policy development, risk reporting, and compliance training, working with diverse stakeholders in a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with minimum 6 years compliance experience in regulated financial institution/FinTech or related.
• Experience with regulatory laws in HK and Asia, MSO/SFO/PSSVFO guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English, Chinese & Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory engagement strategy for Airwallex in Hong Kong and manage licensing for payment services, securities, asset management, and remittance.
• Coordinate with regulators and internal teams; ensure compliance across products and processes.
• Develop and implement policies, controls, and training; monitor compliance and conduct risk within risk framework.
