Bank of Singapore Limited (Hong Kong Branch) is seeking a seasoned compliance professional to support and advance ethical, legally compliant operations across the bank. You will monitor HK regulatory requirements and collaborate with business units to implement controls.

The role requires five years of HK banking compliance experience, familiarity with HKMA/SFC rules, and strong English and Chinese writing and communication skills. Hong Kong residency and strong risk awareness are essential.

Qualificações

• University degree, preferably with relevant academic qualifications.
• Minimum 5 years of Hong Kong banking compliance experience, preferably in private banking / wealth management.
• Knowledge of HKMA / SFC regulatory requirements.
• HKIB Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) qualification preferred.
• Excellent in English and Chinese; strong writing and communications skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support and implement Compliance efforts for the Bank and promote an ethical, compliant culture.
• Stay updated on HK regulatory requirements and implement with relevant business units.
• Conduct HKMA self-assessments and surveys (Code of Banking Practice, Deposit Protection Scheme, OTC derivatives margin, IT security).
• Review marketing materials before insurance products.
• Conduct Fit and Proper assessments for Type 1, 4, 9 license applications.
• Handle CE/ACE applications and regulator inquiries (SFC S181/S182).
• Review cross-border guidelines with legal counsel and Head Office.
• Participate in committees to provide compliance advice and prepare reports for OCBC Group Head Office.
