Job summary
Prudential Services Asia in Hong Kong seeks a seasoned Health Underwriter to strengthen distribution and health sales enablement. You will be the primary contact for agents’ underwriting questions, coach pre-underwriting, and deliver practical training on health selling techniques and underwriting tips.
The role requires at least 6 years in life insurance underwriting, FLMI qualification, and strong English and Chinese communication.
Qualifications
- Solid track record in life insurance underwriting (minimum 6 years).
- Professional qualification in Life Insurance including FLMI is required.
- Excellent command of English and Chinese (written and spoken).
- University degree in any discipline.
Responsibilities
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with agency leaders and agents; surface field pain points and provide selling aids and underwriting tips.
- Serve as primary contact for health underwriting questions; coach pre-underwriting and case packaging to improve submissions and turnaround times.
- Develop and deliver health training modules; run workshops and webinars; track knowledge uptake and refine content with Product, Underwriting and Operations.
