Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is recruiting for a seasoned Responsible Officer (Type 4 & 9) to lead the launch and ongoing oversight of a new Private Equity Fund platform in Hong Kong. You will ensure compliance with SFC rules, governance, and regulatory reporting, while working with cross-functional teams.

The role requires at least 8 years in asset management or private markets, strong leadership, and fluency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Extensive regulatory knowledge across SFC rules and licensing requirements.
• Proven ability to manage governance, risk, and controls in asset management.
• Experience launching or overseeing private equity funds and related structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the establishment of private equity fund structures and related platforms.
• Oversee regulatory reporting, inspections, and licensing matters with regulators.
• Manage governance frameworks, valuation policies, and risk controls.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Operations and Risk teams on fund formation.
