Job summary

Hostmost Engineering Ltd is seeking a senior Head of IT, Enterprise Systems & Information Security to lead group-wide IT strategy across seven offices. You will own enterprise systems, the Microsoft 365 tenant, ERP migrations to Dynamics 365 Business Central and a large self-hosted automation layer, while driving AI-enabled improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional experience delivering enterprise IT systems
• Minimum 5 years in enterprise IT systems delivery, incl. 2+ years leading IT function or programme
• Hands-on delivery of a production enterprise web app (React/Node.js/PostgreSQL) as sole or lead developer
• Experience owning a scalable workflow automation platform (n8n or equivalent)
• Full Microsoft 365 tenant ownership across multi-country org: Entra ID, CA, Exchange, SharePoint, Graph API
• Security ownership incl. email authentication, threat intel integration, identity security and incident response
• ERP implementation or migration experience; Dynamics 365 BC preferred
• Operate self-hosted services (AWS, Docker) with backup and DR
• Applied AI/LLM integration in production: retrieval, classification, docs
• Experience supporting multi-office, multi-jurisdiction ops across time zones
• Fluent English; Cantonese/Mandarin an advantage
• Experience in maritime/shipping or engineering services is a plus

Responsibilities

• Own group-wide enterprise systems strategy, architecture and delivery
• Design, build and maintain the group’s internal web platform (React/Node.js/PostgreSQL) as system of record
• Own self-hosted automation platform (n8n) with 100+ workflows spanning ERP, HR, security
• Lead ERP migration to Dynamics 365 Business Central: data, integration, docs, governance
• Own Microsoft 365 tenant: Entra ID, CA, privileged access, Exchange, SharePoint, Graph API
• Own information security posture: SPF/DKIM/DMARC, identity security, vendor access, incident response
• Maintain security governance: risk register, security plan, policies, data-privacy compliance
• Design and deploy AI-assisted systems: document classification, retrieval-based assistants, helpdesk automation
• Own Zendesk platform and its automation across offices
• Manage self-hosted cloud infra (AWS, Docker): backup, monitoring, DR
• Lead IT operations and support across offices and time zones, reporting to directors
