Job summary

Andrea Mak is seeking an experienced ECM deal leader to originate and execute Hong Kong equity capital market transactions, including IPOs, follow-ons, private placements and block trades. You will model, value, structure deals and prepare pitchbooks while coordinating cross-functional teams across cross-border markets.

The role requires 7–10 years in ECM/CF within an SFC-licensed firm, a Type 1 licence, and a strong HK/Greater China network.

Qualifications

7–10 years of ECM / corporate finance experience at an SFC licensed securities firm.
Hold SFC Type 1 licence; RO capability is a strong plus.
Established network with pre-IPO and listed company management and institutional investors in HK/Greater China.
Must hold a valid Hong Kong visa; no new visa sponsorship; visa renewal support available.
Fluent in English and Mandarin; fintech BD mindset.
CFA qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead full-cycle ECM deal origination and execution, including Hong Kong IPOs, follow-on offerings, private placements and block trades.
Conduct financial modelling, valuation, deal structuring and pitchbook preparation for ECM transactions.
Build and maintain relationships with issuers, institutional investors and key market stakeholders across cross-border capital markets.
Coordinate internal teams to drive deal delivery, mentor junior team members and support the firm's global capital market expansion strategy.
Ensure all deal activities comply with HKEX listing rules and relevant SFC regulatory requirements.
