  • Deep hands-on experience in KYC, KYB, customer risk assessment, enhanced due diligence, AML investigations, sanctions screening and transaction monitoring.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate requirements across relevant jurisdictions into workable controls and procedures, in partnership with regulatory specialists and legal counsel.
  • Proven experience improving case quality and throughput, managing backlogs, overseeing vendors and implementing or enhancing compliance systems.
  • Experience handling partner information requests, audits or regulatory examinations. Strong judgement on confidential information, suspicious activity escalation and compliance-related account restrictions.
  • A hands-on leader who develops managers, makes defensible decisions and escalates control failures promptly.
  • Degree in law, finance, business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Legal qualification is valuable but is not required for this operational leadership role.
