Job summary

First Digital Trust is seeking a Growth Manager for Finance District to drive developer activation and community-led growth in the on-chain economy. You will own day-to-day execution, work with the Finance District Lead, and advance founding-style sales conversations with early users.

This hands-on role requires 4+ years in growth or GTM at fintech/crypto, fluency with crypto basics, and strong technical writing.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in growth, developer relations, community, or founding GTM at a fintech, crypto, or technically deep startup.
• Hands-on contributions to community-led growth or developer activation — tutorials shipped, communities engaged, integrations supported.
• Technical fluency: comfortable reading code and demoing to developers audiences.
• Working knowledge of crypto fundamentals — wallets, stablecoins, on-chain mechanics; AI agents a plus.
• Experience onboarding or closing customers personally, even at small scale.
• Strong written communication — technical writing, community posts, social.

Responsibilities

Role Purpose

The Growth Manager is responsible for executing the growth playbook for Finance District. You drive transaction volume by activating the developers, builders, and early customers who will define agentic payments and the on-chain economy.

Working closely with the Finance District Lead, who sets strategic direction, you will own the day-to-day execution of community-led growth, developer activation, and founding-style sales conversations. This is a hands-on role — no team to manage in year one — and a strong performer is positioned to grow into the Growth Lead role over time.

Key Responsibilities

Community-led Growth

• Partner with Marketing on Community Engagement: Work hand-in-hand with the marketing team to actively engage developer and builder communities relevant to agentic payments and AI agents (e.g., Reddit, AI hackathons, Web3 builder Discords, X spaces, indie hacker spaces), ensuring alignment with overall brand messaging.
• Co-Execute the Content Calendar: Collaborate with the marketing team to execute a synchronized content calendar, contributing technical expertise for tutorial threads, video walkthroughs, code samples, and demo apps while leveraging marketing’s distribution channels.
• Represent the Brand at Events: Participate in and contribute to hackathons and builder events, coordinating closely with marketing on event strategy, branding assets, and post-event lead engagement.

Developer Activation

• Manage the activation funnel day to day; measure and iterate within the playbook set by the Finance District Lead
• Provide hands-on support to early users who get stuck on integration
• Ship and maintain demo code, sample apps, and integration guides

Founding-style Sales

• Engage promising users — small e-commerce platforms, AI agent makers, indie founders
• Walk them through onboarding, integration, and early support
• Manage 10-30 active relationships in parallel
• Surface strategic partnership opportunities for the Ecosystem Partnerships function

Reporting and Operations

• Maintain clean CRM hygiene and weekly funnel reporting
• Surface customer and community insights to the Finance District Lead and product team

Required Experience

• 4+ years in growth, developer relations, community, or founding GTM at a fintech, crypto, or technically deep startup
• Demonstrated hands-on contributions to community-led growth or developer activation — tutorials shipped, communities engaged, integrations supported
• Technical fluency: comfortable reading code, able to demo a product to a developer audience
• Working knowledge of crypto fundamentals — wallets, stablecoins, basic on-chain mechanics. Working knowledge of AI agents is a strong plus
• Experience onboarding or closing customers personally, even at small scale
• Strong written communication — technical writing, community posts, social
