Job summary

Dash Living, Asia Pacific’s leading manager and operator of living sector assets, seeks a detail-oriented Group Reporting Accountant to join its Group Finance team in Hong Kong. You will focus on group financial reporting, consolidation, and audit schedule preparation, collaborating with regional finance teams and external auditors to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3–5 years of accounting/group reporting experience, including consolidation and audit schedules.
• Experience in hotel/hospitality sector preferred.
• HKICPA preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving abilities.
• Well-organised and able to cope with a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly group consolidated accounts and reporting packages.
• Coordinate with regional finance teams for group reporting and consolidation.
• Prepare consolidation adjustments and intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare group financial statements and audit schedules with supporting documentation.
• Liaise with external auditors and regional teams to coordinate audit requests.
• Support month-end and year-end closing and ensure consistent application of group policies.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and drive process improvements.

About the Job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Group Reporting Accountant to join our Group Finance team. In this role, you will focus on group financial reporting, consolidation, and the preparation of audit schedules. You will work closely with regional finance teams and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely reporting, consistent accounting treatment, and a smooth audit process.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly group consolidated accounts and financial reporting packages, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
• Coordinate with regional finance teams to collect, review, and validate financial information for group reporting and consolidation.
• Prepare consolidation adjustments, intercompany reconciliations, and elimination entries, and follow up on discrepancies with regional teams.
• Prepare group financial statements, audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Liaise with external auditors and regional finance teams to coordinate audit requests and resolve audit queries.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring consistent application of group accounting policies.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support reporting and consolidation process improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance, with experience in group reporting, consolidation, and audit schedule preparation
• Experiences in hotel / hospitality business is preferred
• HKICPA is preferred
• Strong attention to detail, with good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Well-organized, proactive, and able to cope with fast-paced environment
• High proficiency in MS Excel
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
