Job summary

Ascentium is looking for a Marketing Intern to support the Group Marketing team across digital marketing, communications, and campaign execution. Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or a related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with translation and proofreading ability across English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
• Detail-oriented, organised, proactive, and comfortable supporting stakeholders and timelines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with HubSpot, CMS tools, LinkedIn, or social media management platforms is a plus.
• Design and video skills are a plus, including Canva, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, CapCut, or AI video editing tools.

About the Job

We are looking for a Marketing Intern to support the Group Marketing team across digital marketing, communications, and campaign execution. This role offers hands-on exposure to regional and global marketing initiatives, working closely with internal stakeholders, Business Units (BUs), and external agencies.

Responsibilities

Social Media

• Assist in social media content planning and execution, including copywriting, editing, translation, scheduling, and cross-platform adaptation.
• Support visual asset creation, basic video creation/editing, and AI-assisted content development for social media.
• Monitor content performance, conduct competitor research, and provide insights to support ongoing optimisation.

Website Management

• Maintain and update multilingual website content, including service offerings, thought leadership articles, news, guides, insights, and media coverage.
• Support the publication, formatting, SEO optimisation implementation, and brand-aligned presentation of digital content.
• Assist with website UAT, content audits, quality checks, and issue tracking to ensure accuracy, usability, and a positive user experience.

Internal Communications

• Prepare content updates for intranet, newsletters, and company-wide announcements.
• Organise internal communications materials, folders, assets, and supporting documents.
• Support content submission, tracking, and follow-up for internal channels.

Campaigns & Events

• Support marketing campaigns, corporate events, webinars, and business development initiatives.
• Coordinate event logistics, vendor communications, brand assets, and supporting materials.
• Assist with campaign content, event follow-ups, and post-event social media or video materials.

Research & Strategic Projects

• Conduct market, competitor, and BU research for campaigns and initiatives.
• Support audits across social media, digital channels, and content formats.
• Assist with marketing tools, workflows, and process improvements.
